EXPLORE THE UNKNOWN
Starstruck

Starstruck is an outdoor exploratory program which includes the opportunity for participants to view celestial objects through an 8-inch computerized telescope. We’ll explore our place in the vast cosmos and use our backyard night sky as a window to peer into the universe. Starstruck introduces students to the exciting STEM field of astronomy in an accessible and hands-on way.

Starstruck is a perfect evening activity for scouting groups, science clubs and other audiences eager to learn about space. For Girl Scouts, Starstruck specifically fulfills requirements for the Cadette Night Owl and the Senior Sky badge. For Boy Scouts, Starstruck is perfect for Tigers obtaining the Sky Is The Limit Elective Adventure, fulfills requirements for the Webelo Adventures in Science Elective Adventure, and is an amazing resource for Boy Scout working on the Astronomy Merit Badge. For any group, Starstruck is a great activity for a camping trip or in lieu of a troop meeting for a unique and eye-opening experience.
