High Frequency
High Frequency is all about energy, sound, and waves. Ever wonder why parts of your car rattle on the highway, or how a flute makes music? Students will explore how different objects produce sound waves and how we can effect the kind of sound they make. Using our tabletop wave generator we'll learn what frequency, amplitude, and resonance are, and look at some of the amazing properties of waves on strings, springs, and more! High Frequency is designed to help students understand the forms that energy takes in the world around us and how we can interact with it.
