Amped Up is a thrilling class about electricity and magnetism! We'll explore the fundamentals of both halves of the electromagnetic force with unique visuals and shocking equipment. Students can feel the force of an electromagnet, see the magnetic field lines of cow magnets and hop up to hold on to our Oudin Coil or Van de Graaf generator to personally experience the properties of electricity. From atomic structure to polarizing magnetism and arcing electricity, we'll cover a wide array of electromagnetic principals, while giving students an experience they won't forget.
